Moment of Silence

In the KCSD, the following guidelines will be observed for this daily moment of silence:

• The moment of silence will be observed during the first class of each day and will last for a minimum of one minute and a maximum of two minutes.
• Students are required to remain seated and silent during this time.
• Students may choose to use this time for meditation, prayer, or any other silent activity, provided it does not disrupt or impede other students' use of the time.
• School personnel are not permitted to provide instruction on how students should engage with the moment of silence.
